Can I Add A Message To My Delivery?
Yes, once you are in the Payment section, you will be able to add a message to your recipient that will be included on the shipping label.
Can I Change The Delivery Address?
Unfortunately, we cannot change the delivery address after an order has been placed. Prior to submitting your order, please ensure the shipping address is correct.
When Will My Order Arrive?
Orders placed before 6am are baked and shipped on the same day to ensure freshness. Orders submitted after 6am will ship on the next business day. Orders placed after 6am on Wednesdays are processed on the following Monday and will ship that day. Orders do not ship on Holidays. All orders expected to ship on a Holiday will ship the next business day. Depending on the type of shipping selected, you can anticipate the delivery of your order in 2-3 days after your order is confirmed. Note that this is only an anticipated time frame pending weather or other events outside of our control.
What Happens After I Place My Order
After you place your order, you will see an order confirmation screen that contains your order number and details. This will confirm that your order has successfully been placed. You will also receive several emails including order confirmation, when your order has been shipped and when it has been delivered.
How Does Shipping Work?
- Leap for Cake ships throughout the United States using USPS as our shipping carrier.
- Orders are only shipped nationwide, using USPS, Monday through Wednesday. We do not ship nationwide on Thursdays-Fridays or holidays.
- Orders are not shipped over a weekend and are not typically delivered on Saturday, Sunday or on the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Delivery time and date is not guaranteed.
Do You Ship Internationally?
At this time, we do not offer international shipping but can ship within the United States, including Alaska & Hawaii.
What Is Your Return or Refund Policy?
Leap for Cake does not offer returns nor accepts refunds for orders that have been processed and shipped. If there is a problem with your order, please contact customercare@leapforcake.com with your name and order number and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
What Happens If I Have Issues With My Order
We strive to ensure each order is baked and shipped to your satisfaction. However, if your order was incorrect or damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receipt by emailing customercare@leapforcake.com with your name, order number and issue with your order. We will be happy to help resolve the issue.
If I Order Multiple Boxes, How Will My Order Ship?
We pack orders in 3 different sizes. Boxes are packed according to the numbers of desserts that can fit into a single box. For example: our smallest (USPS Regional Rate) box will fit one 10 inch pound cake. Our largest box can fit two 10 inch pound cakes. If you were to order three pound cakes, you would receive 2 total boxes. The first box would have one pound cake; the second box would have two cakes.
Is There A Leap for Cake Bakery Store In My Area?
Perhaps in the future Leap for Cake will open a physical location for walk ins or pick ups! However, currently Leap for Cake is an online only bakery. Unless special accommodations are agreed upon, all orders can only be shipped to their chosen destination(s).
I Have A Nut Allergy. Can I Order Your Products?
Our pound cakes contain eggs, milk, soy, and wheat. They are also baked in a facility that produces items containing tree nuts and peanuts. If your gift recipient has a nut allergy, we recommend that our products are not consumed.
What Is Your Gluten Free Policy
Leap for Cake has worked diligently to develop its gluten free cookie collection. Each recipe contains ingredients that are specifically labeled as gluten free; or products that are specifically deemed as gluten free. Our gluten free items are produced in mixed use kitchen facility; although all gluten free ingredients are stored separately.
How Can I Track My Order
Once you order has shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number. Click the number in that email to track progress.
